Type C — conventional, hood out front

The classic school bus shape and the most common conversion platform by a wide margin. The hood and cowl ahead of the entry door are dead space, costing roughly seven to eight feet of your overall length, but the engine sits forward of the living area where its noise and heat stay out of the cabin. Parts and mechanical knowledge are easier to come by than for any other type.
